3 Doors Down is a  band from Escatawpa, Mississippi,   formed in 1996.  consisting of Brad Arnold  , Todd Harrell  , and Matt Roberts .    joined by rhythm guitarist Chris Henderson. rising to international fame with their first single, “Kryptonite“.    charting in the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.   Republic Records ,  released their debut album, The Better Life, in 2000. it was   was certified 6x platinum .   later joined by drummer Richard Liles, who played during the tour for their first album.

2nd album

  Away from the Sun,their 2nd album continued the band’s success. debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart.  went multi-platinum in the U.S. spawning the hits “When I’m Gone” and “Here Without You“.     playing  nearly 1,000 shows across the world following the release of Away from the Sun. In 2005, Greg Upchurch  joined to play drums to replace Adair. 

3rd album and beyond

 Seventeen Days was released in 2005. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.  and was certified platinum within one month . Their fourth,   album, 3 Doors Down , also debuted at No. 1 . The   fifth studio album, Time of My Life  debuted at No. 3 on the charts.

Original guitarist Matt Roberts departed in 2012,   to health issues.   replaced by Chet Roberts, who was   Henderson’s guitar tech. Harrell was fired in 2013 after being charged with vehicular homicide.  harrell was replaced by bassist Justin Biltonen.[5] Worldwide, 3 Doors Down has sold more than 20 million albums.   sharing  the stage with artists such as Black Stone CherryMegadethStaindNickelback, Bob seger and several other legends.
