John Corabi (born April 26, 1959) is a hard rock singer and guitarist. He has worked with such bands as Angora, The Scream, Mötley Crüe, Union and ESP, Brides of Destruction, and Angel City Outlaws He is the current lead singer for the The Dead Daisies.
After Mötley Crüe parted ways with Vince Neil in 1992, Corabi was hired. Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee stated that the band would benefit from Corabi. with his voice and having another musician contribute to the songwriting. John recorded the Mötley Crüe album in 1994 and the EP Quaternary. the music was heavier than the rest of the Mötley Crüe catalog. it did not sell as well as previous releases from the band. During the early stages of the writing what would become Generation Swine, Mötley Crüe’s label refused to provide funds to record the album without Vince Neil. Rather than hiring another label, Mötley Crüe acceded to the demand and by 1997 Corabi was replaced . Many of the songs from the early writing session were used on the album. Corabi is credited on the liner notes for co-writing some of the songs.
Currently in 2016, Corabi is the lead vocalist for the Australian/American rock band The Dead Daisies. The band has released a new album, and will be joining KISS on their “Freedom To Rock Tour” with shows across the US after which they will head to Saitama, Japan to play at the Loud Park Festival. In early November the band will rejoin KISS on the KISS Kruise VI then set off for a massive UK and European trek on a co-headline tour with Irish rock band The Answer to finish off 2016
