bio
The Los Angeles-based band Buckcherry formed in mid-1995. Joshua Todd and Keith Nelson were introduced through a tattoo artist. After cutting demos, Jonathan “J.B.” Brightman and Devon Glenn joined. and began performing live. quickly earning a local following. with their swaggering, grunge-flavored music. Following the addition of guitarist Yogi Lonich, signing with DreamWorks Records , issued their debut LP in 1999. Singles such as “Check Your Head” and “For the Movies” were modern rock hits, allowing them to raise their profile by summer 2000.
