AS you know by now my brother from another, Craig Wayne Boyd is on the current season of The Voice and he is KICKING ASS. He just performed as part of the

#VoiceTop10 and absolutely nailed his own version of the Johnny Cash classic I Walk The Line dedicated to his own son and the memory of our  fallen brother Wayne Mills, who was murdered her in Nashville 1 year ago. Proud and honored to have a few of my images used again on The Voice this evening, of Craig and Wayne Mills.  AS promised, each week I would add new photos of Craig from past shoots and shows together.

Not only is he in the top 10 , he hit #1 on the Itunes Country chart last week, HOW AMAZING IS THAT !!!???!! #1 !!!!!!!

I am SO happy for him, and proud OF him, america has fallen in love with CWB Y’all !!

If you missed my post last week , a very good friend of mine is currently on The Voice and doing very well and has America falling in love with him. The world is getting to learn what we here in Nashville have known for years, Craig Wayne Boyd is a hell of a talent with an amazing voice and incredible stage presence.

Craig was the very first person I  was introduced to and became friends with the night I moved to Nashville 6 years ago. we have since become family and had some amazing times together. Having worked with my share of ” rock stars” the past 15 years, I knew since the first time I saw him perform that he had “it” and i have been telling him ever since.

Now is Craig’s time to shine !!!

Went over to Chattanooga, Tn the other night for a great show with HALESTORM and the opening night of their current tour with The Dead Deads and New Medicine at Track 29. Prior to the show I had a quick shoot with Lzzy Hale for some upcoming projects for a few clients including Marshall amps and Gibson. There will be a upcoming magazine cover featuring one of the images, will keep you posted.  The entire 90 minute set was amazing and an ass kicker from beginning to end which included a show opening BRAND NEW SONG ” I LIKE IT HEAVY”  .  I suggest everyone see a show on this tour, and get your tickets now as shows are selling out fast ! Set was filled with fan favorites like I Miss The Misery, Love Bites, I Get Off, Freak Like Me  amongst others and two great classic covers including Judas Priest’ Dissident Aggressor and Guns N Roses’ Out To get me.  One of the best live rock bands out there right now , amazing musicians and incredibly kind folks , that  am proud to call friends.

In  what will be a long time effort, I added 70 new images to the BLACK LABEL SOCIETY gallery of the site. I spent a lot of time with this band on and off the stage over the past 15 years.  the new site has made it a lot  easier to navigate and see all the images you are looking for from the past 15 years.

Having photographed them over 100 times live around the country starting in 1999, public appearances, meet and greets, in the recording studio, video sets and more. A little at a time, much  like all the band galleries I will add images from new shows. Tonight I added about 70 images, many never before seen from the July 16, and July 21, 2006 OZZFEST shows in Chicago and Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin. The band was headlining the 2nd stage this year to some massive crowds across the country.

Yesterday, Saturday November 7, 2014 1500 people gathered in Centennial park in Nashville for STEP OUT: Walk To Stop Diabetes. Being of the 29 million Americans

affected by this disease I wanted to do my part in bringing awareness and helping to raise funds. Team Chad Lee Photography raised a total of $1101.33 for the cause, and included my mother Jeani Haines, friends John and Renee Szefcyk, their 2 daughters and members of the band HABIT OF FORCE.

My very good friend Craig Wayne Boyd is currently garnering a LOT of attention on the television show The Voice. ON last night’s episode he was “stolen ” back to

#teamblake after his  performance of the Marshall Tucker classic Can’t You See, that was worthy of a Sunday morning sermon. For those that haven’t read it already, Craig is the very first person I met and became friends with the night I moved to Nashville nearly 6 years ago.   I am so happy for Craig, his family, fans and friends right now as the world is getting to the talent he has and is, that we have all known about.  After hearing Craig sing and watching him perform a few times I told him one night ” you are amazing, and we will be on a tour bus together some day when you blow up.” Since that time, Craig and I have had done several photo shoots together, on and off stage. Celebrating Craig’s current success on The Voice I will slowly start adding some of these images back to the new website here for your viewing pleasure.
