Disturbed was the headling act on the 2011 Rockstar Energy drink Mayhem Festival. I photographed 16 of the bands show on this tour from everywhere on stage, to the back of the arenas. Here is a sampling of some of my favoorites from various city’s across the country. Following this tour the band took what at the time was an un determined hiatus. July 27, 2011 Holmdel, Nj – I joined drummer Mike Wengren on his drum riser for a couple songs at this show for some amazing shots. Those flames on stage are no joe, hotter than hell and just a few feet away.
August 2, 2011 Farm Bureau Live Amphitheater – Bristow, Va
August 5, 2011 First Midwest Bank Amphitheater – Tinley Park, Il Hometown show for the band and myself. End of this show I was invited up to Mike’s drum kit to take an epic photos with the sold out home town crowd behind them.
August 7, 2011 Verizon Wireless Amphitheater – Noblesville, Indiana
August 9, 2011 Zoo Amphitheater – Oklahoma City, Ok
August 10, 2011 Dallas Texas – Disturbed invite Sully Erna of Godsmack and the rest of the bands on the tour to join them onstage for the Pantera classic WALK. Disturbed used a photo of mine of Darrell to display on the big screen during the song. Evening ended with a HUGE party in honor of Dime ” Pink Beard In The Sky Party”
