As time allows I continue adding images from the past. Today’s update is the Rob Zombie live photo gallery. Which now features images from 50 shows going back to 2002 .
My first Zombie show was White Zombie opening for Pantera August 12, 1996 At the Riviera theater in Chicago. At the time I knew nothing about them, but have been a fan eve since. From White Zombie to his solo band, and all of his movie’s.
My 20 year career actually is due to my friendship with Rob’s guitarist John 5 . John and I met back in 1998 trading KISS posters . Back 1996 I shot the re union tour , seeing the photos John said ” these are great , you should do this for a living ! ” He and I have remained friends ever since, the rest is history .
2002 was the first time photographing the band at Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin. Since then I have shot nearly 60 shows all over the country. Festivals have included Ozzfest , Mayhem Fest , Uproar , Rock On The Range , Louder Than Life and others.
Some of my images of the band have been used by various companies including Fender GuitarsDean Markley , Samson , Sonor , Zoom , Ahead and others. Those promotional items can be seen below

I took a drive up to Indiana to see Slayer again a few weeks back on their Final World Tour. Klipsch Music Center marked my 184th show photographing the band over the past 20 years. Noblesville was hit with a nasty storm forcing the show to be postponed for several hours. Cannibal Corpse was unable to perform , but Lamb Of God and Amon Amarth put on amazing sets. Performing crowd favorites including Chemical Warfare, Mandatory Suicide , Hell Awaits , Angel Of Death and 14 others. Their set is like standing at the gates of hell with a pyro production that rivals the likes of Kiss and Motley Crue. With upside down crosses of fire that could be felt at the back of the lawn. I honestly don’t know how Gary Holt and Kerry King have not burned their beards yet.
Having been a fan of the band since my early teens, I like millions of others am not looking forward to them retiring after 40 years. If you had told me in 1987 at my first show that later in life I would be come friends with the guys and work almost 200 shows with them… I would have said you are HIGH. While i am merely 16 shows from hitting 200 it is unlikely . It will be a sad day when the final notes of Angel Of Death ring out , but I look forward to being there to see , witness and photograph it. If you are even remotely a fan, I highly suggest seeing them before it is over. in an usual twist they will be performing before Lynyrd Skynyrd October 11th at Exit 111 Fest . This will mark their final performance in Tennessee.
Final World Tour
I updated my site with photos from the Indiana show this week. Slayer gallery to 43 shows for viewing. Going to 2003 and will be updated with more as time allows . shots from all over the USA as well as my trip overseas in December of 2018. I shot shows in Oslo Norway and the Helsinki Finland show on December 8. Making these shows even cooler was seeing my good friend Phil Demmel formerly of Machine Head . Demmel stepped in last minute to fill in for Gary Holt who needed to leave the tour as his father passed . Helsinki was also INCREDIBLY special to me as I finally took a show ending drum riser shot of the band as well as a dressing room shot moments before the band hit the stage seen below . An absolute honor and pleasure for this lifelong Slayer fan.

August 8, 2004 I had the huge honor of being the only photographer to ever shoot Kerry King, Zakk Wylde and Dimebag Darrell together. Dubbed ” The Triple Threat” working with these three legends and friends was one of the highlights of my career. Images form this shoot can be seen here The Triple Threat Photo shoot

Disturbed photo galleries updated with 30 shows from 2002 – 2016.
Over the past 16 years I have been fortunate enough to watch a few guys from Chicago gain huge success. I am proud to call the guys friends and family. Having done over 100 shows from 2001 to current date. Images in the gallery include Mayhem fest , Ozzfest , Uproar Fest, Rock On the Range and others.
The band has released six studio albums, five of which have consecutively debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Only two other artists have achieved this Dave Mathews and Metallica. To this day the guys are all as humble as they were on their first Ozzfest tour in 2000.
Lamb Of God photo galleries have been updated. Live concert gallery now has images from 14 shows and over 100 photos. Shots go back to Ozzfest 2004 , as well as Mayhem Fest and Knotfest .
Photos of Mark Morton taken at The Rave in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2007 have been added to the portrait gallery. Images of Willie Adler taken at his home in Virginia in 2006 and 2009 in Indianapolis on the Metallica tour.
Anthrax is an American thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group was considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene during the 1980s. Of the “Big Four” thrash metal bands (the others being Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer), Anthrax were the only band from the East Coast. As of April 2017, the band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Anthrax sold 2.5 million records in the United States from 1991 to 2004, with worldwide sales of 10 million.
Noted for its live performances, Anthrax signed with the independent label Megaforce Records, which released the band’s debut studio album in 1984. Lilker soon left the band to form Nuclear Assault, and was replaced by roadieFrank Bello. Lead vocalist Neil Turbin was replaced after two years by Matt Fallon, who was then subsequently replaced in 1984 by Joey Belladonna. With a new lineup, the band recorded Spreading the Disease (distributed by Island Records) in 1985. Anthrax’s third album, Among the Living, was released in 1987 to critical praise. The band experienced another lineup change in 1992, when John Bush from Armored Saint replaced Belladonna as lead vocalist. Sound of White Noise was released the following year, peaking at number seven on the Billboard 200. Studio recordings during the 1990s saw the band, influenced by other genres, experimenting with its sound.
Anthrax’s lineup has changed several times over their career. The band has had a number of vocalists including Neil Turbin, Joey Belladonna, Dan Nelson and John Bush. Founding member Scott Ian and early arrival Charlie Benante, who joined Anthrax in 1983, are the only band members to appear on every album. Bassist Frank Bello has played on every album, except for the band’s debut Fistful of Metal, which featured Dan Lilker. In 2010, Belladonna returned to Anthrax and has since recorded two more studio albums with the band, Worship Music (2011) and For All Kings (2016)
With Avenged Sevenfold about to hit the road soon for a fall tour and several requests from fans recently, I spent some time going through old images and updated their live photo gallery of the site. With tonight’s addition, there are now nearly 200 concert photos of the band from 15 shows between 2006 and 2011. Photos were taken at venues across the country on various tours including the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival , Uproar and Rock ON The Range. I was fortunate enough to photograph them for the first time back in May of 2006 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on for Jimmy The Rev Sullivan’s first feature story in Modern Drummer magazine. Always a fun band to shoot with a very theatrical show full of great lighting and lots of pyro !

I have also added Marilyn Manson photos from 2 shows. Photos from one show on the 2001 Ozzfest tour and Manson’s hometown appearance in Columbus Ohio at the 2012 Rock on The Range festival. I have photographed Manson a handful of times starting in 1997, many of them still on film negatives that need to be scanned in. Always an entertaining show, and you never know what to expect .
As time allows I will continue to add photos of bands from the past 17 years of my career. I have been very meticulous in my archiving , some bands as you may know i have photographed upwards of 50 or more times. Tonight , in celebration of their new and 5th #1 album, I have updated the Disturbed live photos gallery. Disturbed was the headlining act on the 2011 Rockstar Energy drink Mayhem Festival.
