With everything going on lately, I have fallen a bit behind on posting and uploading photos and reviews, Between travelling for shows, getting the new studio ready, etc I barely have time to pay attention lately, so I’m adding a lot the past few days in an effort to catch up.
I made the drive down to Atlanta last month to see and photograph Coal Chamber, and hang with old friends Dez and Nadja. They played the infamous Masquerade which is a 3 level club each level aptly titled from the bottom up – Hell, Purgatory and Heaven, of which this show was in heaven…lol . It had been quite a number of years since I had seen the band perform live, to be specific it had been since 1997 on Ozzfest ! Prior to the show I spent some time on the bus catching up with Dez, enjoying some mother nature as well as a few glasses of amazing wine, while listening to a variety of great outlaw country greats like Waylon, Willie, Johhny and Jamey Johnson.
They hit the stage with Loco right out of the gate and got the crowd moving and never let them down until the last note. So glad to see them back together again and on the road. I am looking very forward to catching them again later this year with Fear factory, depending on my schedule, I may head out for a few shows.
