Industrial metal legend Al Jourgensen and his band of madmen are currently terrorizing the country with their unique brand of politically driven metal. Al has put together a great lineup to bring Ministry back to the concert circuit for the first time in a few years, and there are eager fans everywhere lining up to see them. Having been a long time Ministry fan, having seen and photographed them numerous times over the past 20 years, I too was excited to get to see them a couple times recently.
I photographed them a few weeks ago at our premier rock festival in the states Rock On The Range, and again last night here in Nashville. Last night’s show being much more satisfying as they were able to do their full 90 minute set, loaded with new and old material. Crowd favorites included NWO, Just One Fix, Thieves, and So What to name a few. Great , high energy show that kept fist in the air, and a rabid mosh put all night.
You can view images from both shows at the link here: https://www.chadleephotography.com/portfolio/ministry/
Over time, like with all the other bands here on the site , i will continue to add old photos from my archives, including a photo shoot with deceased and deeply missed guitarist Mike Scaccia, and special appearances from Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielson and Biafra from their 2004 tour , of which I shot 4 complete shows.
